Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond, deliver a requested check, or operate a client engagement.
- Contact details you send on Contact, Free Audit or Local Growth Check Up forms: name, email, phone, restaurant name, city, state or province, website, Google Business URL, and a short description of what you need.
- Check-up selections, such as the three online checks you choose on the Local Growth Check Up page.
- Messages you send by email, WhatsApp or social profiles linked from this site.
- Technical data created when you load the site, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and approximate location. Our host, Cloudflare, processes this to deliver and protect the site.
- A language preference stored in your browser as local storage. That preference is not a cookie and is not sent to ForkScale.
Do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers or private account credentials through website forms. A free audit or check-up does not require login access.
Information we do not collect on this website
The Review Draft Helper runs in your browser. Restaurant details you type there stay on your device unless you copy them elsewhere. ForkScale does not receive those drafts and does not post reviews.
This website does not use advertising pixels, remarketing tags or third-party analytics cookies.
How we use information
- To reply to inquiries and send the audit or check-up you requested.
- To confirm limited-offer eligibility, such as remaining Local Growth Check Up spots.
- To prepare a proposal or start monthly operations after you ask us to.
- To improve the website, prevent abuse and keep the service available.
- To meet legal, tax and record-keeping duties.
We may use AI-assisted tools to help draft replies or review publicly visible restaurant listings. People on the ForkScale team remain responsible for client work. We do not sell your contact details.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and delivers form submissions to our team.
- Google Fonts, which loads the typefaces used on this site and may receive your IP address.
- Communication channels you already use to reach us, including email and WhatsApp.
- A professional adviser or authority when the law requires it, or to protect the company, a client or the public.
If you later hire ForkScale, you may grant access to Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram or related restaurant accounts. We treat that access as a service provider for your business. Platform rules still apply, and those companies process data under their own policies.
Cookies and similar technologies
The current site does not set analytics or advertising cookies. Hosting and security services may set strictly necessary cookies. Language choice is stored locally in your browser. A first-visit notice explains this; dismissing it does not turn cookies on or off.

Retention
We keep inquiry and engagement records for as long as needed to respond, deliver the requested work and maintain ordinary business records, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete contact details that are not required for an active engagement or a legal duty.

You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold, or to stop marketing contact. California residents may also request the categories of personal information collected and confirm that we do not sell or share that information for cross-context advertising. Canadian residents may request access and correction under applicable privacy law.
